February fun

Heyo!

So we have been having fun. We had a fun visit from Grandma and Sean and Megan. Adelina has become enthralled with looking at/following faces now that she is over a month old. She has some beautiful blue eyes and sources say the hair is quite strawberry blond still. Jocelyn is quite in love with her sister and likes to help do all the duties (dress, clean and change her) while singing her songs.

It's shaping up to be a good month. We are still pretty home bound, but we are making the best of it with my little pony episodes, good snacks, and tea parties and the like. Grandma and the girls :)

Btw, princess Cinderella is quite popular these days!

Well have a great weekend! It's kind of snowy and awfully cold out here, but it gives us a good reason to drink some hot chocolate and put on lots of fun clothes ;)

Super baby!

Well we got 4 hours of uninterrupted sleep! Wahoo!

Here are some shots of Adelina, our little strawberry/peach/tomato, getting some Daddy time in the morning before work.

We attempted a bottle last night. Fail.

We will try some other models today to see which one she likes.

Jocelyn has been doing awesome and has grown to love gymnastics. Here she is with a friend from class. Trampoline is still the favorite. And we are still very much into unicorns/ponies, as seen by Fluffy the unicorn below.

Two little ladies

So Adelina turned one month on January 26th. We would like to say that she is sleeping lots, sigh, but alas we get 1.5-3 hour intervals at best. She likes to look over our shoulders when she is being burped, she keeps her eyes open a lot, and has quite a sagacious face. She, like Jocelyn, have mastered the frown. My kids are good at looking displeased :)

Yes, the name has evolved.

More news to come! Ryan is doing great at his job, and little J is going into a very kind and fun big sis.

Adelina's first month

Hello!

Our first month has been wonderful and a life changer :) Adelina is a wonderful eater, sometimes too hungry! She is very well loved by her big sister Jocelyn, who likes to call her "a little pretzel" when she is swaddled.

Adelina has some signature cries that sound pretty close to the Harry Potter plant called the "mandrake". It's a pretty good ear-piercing cry that can be heard through the house. Baby A has from the get go been amazing at holding up her own head, which we affectionately called "turtling". She has this wee neck that pokes out! Her eyes are staying blue and her hair is still strawberry blonde. She has earned some nicknames such as piglet, strawberry and our pinky pie. We love you baby girl!

First week: at the hospital, coming home, meeting all the family!
