Adventures with Abuelo

Howdy,

Well, we have been lucky to have a lot of help from family and friends visiting from WA, CO and PA in prep/now for Adelina. Thank you!

Our first victim I mean visitor :) was Abuelo. Here are some highlights! Jocelyn had a fun time doing art, playing ponies, and practicing lots of spanish! Most of these are before Adelina was born. More to come soon!

Couldn't resist another Christmas time photo! J loved her pj's for Santa.

Can't wait to see you again Abuelo!
Te queremos :)

Baby Adelina!

December 26th, 2014 was a big day!

Adelina Marie McKeown came and it was a wonderful way to end the month of December. She was born at 4:13pm, 7 pounds and 1 ounce, and 20.5 inches long. Mom is doing great, and we as a family are over the moon to see her beautiful face. The first thing that I said was, "Oh, she looks like a McKeown! A little McKeown lady!". So far, she has a strawberry blond/reddish tinge to her hair and eyebrows. Cute!

All wrapped up, clean and prepped for the day!

Here is a shot of her hair!!!

Proud Lady J with her Adelina :)

More photos and facts to come soon :) Hope everyone is doing great.

Throwback to December 2013 and Christmas 2014!

Merry Christmas!!

Here are some lovely lady updates at the McKeown household.

First, I was digging around old photos and found one of Jocelyn last December at our old house in Rockville (left). Her face has matured a bit since then. The other photo (right) is a close up recently from her Santa photo at the mall. Those clothes from last year still fit!

Second, here is Christmas morning :) Santa brought J a new bike and some other lovely things!
Thanks Santa, family and friends for all the gifts. You all made it quite special. Abuelo came to visit too. It was a very Merry Christmas.

Here we are seeing all the amazing stocking surprises! Santa was a being guy.

The bike!! Vrooooooom :)

Daddy was very, very excited about the new red peacoat. J had a little one she wore on her first Christmas that baby sister will get to wear soon. Now, J gets to update her wardrobe, though she was a bit distracted here!

The Lorax! Hooray! Jocelyn loves the Lorax. Dr. Suess is a big fav in our house.

Here is Abuelo opening his hand-made gift from the J monster :)

Later, we did our grumpy and happy faces.

Santa found a My Little Ponies book in English and Spanish. Score!

Hanging out with our loot!

Next, we took the bike for a spin :) We had our first fall accident and recovered nicely. Our goal is ride our bikes A LOT this spring.

Well, we had a lovely and relaxing Christmas morning. The sun even came out! The dogs got a walk, we ate some amazing homemade food, and later wondered when in the world is baby going to come?!?

So long for now!
