Little girl and her big dog

Hello!

December is probably my favorite month. This month we get to celebrate 3 (or potentially 4!) birthdays in our house (Ryan, Butters and myself), decorate for and celebrate Christmas, and then leave the tree up as long as humanely possible (or until our carpet is replace with needles). Merry Holidays everyone!!

Here is a random picture of Jocelyn at her gymnastics gym. She found this balloon straggler and decided to hang out for awhile. She is really liking gymnastics. So far, her favorite parts are going down the slide into a giant foam pit, bouncing on the trampoline, and getting the stamp at the end of class. This picture reminds me of when I was a little girl doing gymnastics, though there were no smart phones then. Polaroid maybe?!?

Our newest member to the family, Ariel, continues to grow and give us a run for our money. She decided that sleeping on the guest bed would be a great idea while Daddy worked. No way! Don't worry, these blankets have since been washed thoroughly for future guests. She does look cute though :)

After searching for Christmas decorations, we decided (and by 'we' I mean baby and I) needed a well-earned donut break. Daddy decided to taste Jocelyn's donut. She was hesitant at first. I mean, come on, that is a mighty fine chocolate sprinkles donut.

Later on, we braved the crowds to see Santa at the mall with our friend Gianna. They are super cute!

And later on in the kitchen.... since we did't have snow yet we decided to make believe with snow angels on our floor. It doubles as a pretty good sweeping exercise too!

Back to our hound! She has gone to the vet for more reasons than I care to mention. But, we are lucky that our vet is awesome. I wish there was a frequent 'puppy' miles program or something! Here we are waiting in the room. Ryan decides to show Ariel grown up dog teeth. In the end, she just needed some meds. I hope we see them less often as the baby due date nears!

And Queen Elsa Jocelyn Rose the First bids you all good night :) Ariel would too, but she is already off in la la land. <3

P.S. Butters says woof as well. He is off sleeping and we didn't want to disturb his majesty with the flash :)
