Time of thanks and Ryan turning 30!

Well, Happy (belated) Thanksgiving everyone!

I have to say it is kind of neat cataloging all of the fun we have been having since fall 2014. We arrived early in the week at Grammy and Gramps's house to celebrate Thanksgiving. Grammy made a killer meal, and it was really wonderful to see everyone over the holiday.

Jocelyn had her first real encounter with the Peanuts. Since then, she has been singing Hark the Herald Angels Sing in her adorable little voice. At the end, she will chime in with a "Merry Christmas Charlie Brown". The book had buttons that make sounds. Let's just say we loved the book so much the sound doesn't work anymore. Here is the first time Jocelyn read it with Grammy and Gramps.

J made snowmen with Grammy. Very crafty craft!

...followed by many wardrobe changes and accessories. It think she is watching Sheriff Callie and drinking her favorite, orange juice.

Later on during the week, I surprised Ryan with a dinner at Fogo de Chao for his 30th birthday. I have never met anyone that enjoys meat quite like Ryan :) We had a wonderful dinner. I actually didn't eat that much in prep for this all out eating fest, but Ryan still out ate me! And to think, I was the pregnant one!!! The night ended with the most glorious piece of cheesecake one could ever imagine.

Thanksgiving was a blast! Jocelyn talked with everyone, and it was great to hear everyone having a good time. Here are some random shots of the day before/after the celebration. I think I was too busy eating and chatting during for photo taking, sorry!

We had a wonderful visit with Mom Mom, Pop Pop and Aunt Marian.

Thank you to all our family and friends. You really make life great and the holidays that much more special. Next year, it will be an even more fun time with two new little baby girls celebrating their first turkey dinners. Yum!
